About the experience
I know this year can seem a little bit scary at first. Whether it's your high school senior year, or college senior year, I have been right where you are feeling all of these emotions. I can honestly say though, it will be such a joyful and adventurous time in your life! Take in every single football game, enjoy those late night ice cream runs, say yes to doing all the things. Whatever it may be, slow down, and take it in.
Celebrating the adventure of senior year is a memory you'll hold on to the rest of your life. My goal as your senior photographer is to capture that smile on your face, your style during this season in life, and help celebrate such an exciting and life changing year. I want to capture your true, beautiful self to look back on these memories and cherish for a lifetime.
I am so excited that you are interested in choosing me to document your senior year in High School. I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
When seniors come to their session, my goal for them is to feel confident and have a good time during their senior experience! This is a season to celebrate YOU! You have accomplished so much in life already, and deserve this special moment. So, let’s create something magical for you to look back on and cherish this incredible time in your life.

If there is one piece of advice I can give you that will take your senior session from a 5 to a 5,000, it's to read through your Senior Session Guide! It is full of location ideas, outfit styles and tips, props to bring and include, hair and makeup recommendations, literally ALL the THINGS! That is the number one way to ensure that you will have an absolutely amazing session!

Once we are done with the shoot (sad!) you can expect your full senior gallery within about 3-4 weeks! They'll come in an online gallery that you can easily save to your phone and laptop and start posting all over the gram! If you chose to include an album in your package, we'll begin this process as well!

Mini Session
COLLECTION
There is no lack of diversity when it comes to this location. It is one of my TOP favorites amongst my seniors. at least 3 bridges to sit, stand and walk on, beautiful tall grasses in the fall, gorgeous wildflowers in late summer and fun texture of rocks to add depth to your images. Not to mention all the trees that change color in the fall.
Whitetail Woods Regional Park

Very similar to Whitetail, but some different vibes. There is a beach to walk around on, a couple of wooden bridges, an area with wild flowers and tall grasses.
Lebanon Hills - Schultz Lake

If you like a little country/rustic vibe for your images, this is the spot for you. On what used to be a family farm, turned city park, this location has tall grasses, an old brick silo, gravel roads and a view of Lake Marion.
Ritter Farm Park

Want more of an urban vibe to your session without having to drive all the way into Minneapolis? Try Downtown Northfield. It's got small town charm and vibes with some fun historic buildings thrown in.

This section is for my seniors who have a very specific location or epic destination in mind for their shoot. Want to do your portraits at your childhood home or a family property that is sentimental to you? I am ALL about it! I love locations that are custom and sentimental to my clients. 20 miles of travel is included in your package and, if you want to chat about traveling somewhere else, I will shoot all over the world! Just ask and we can build a custom travel package for you.

Location Inspiration
The sooner the better! Our weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to us, the more likely you are to get your desired date!
To reserve your date, we'll need a contract as well as a deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let us know!
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?
Final galleries will be delivered within 4-5 weeks via email!
How long does it take to receive my final gallery?
No one wants to look like a wet dog in their photos so if it looks like it's going to rain, snow, hail or some other weather catastrophe, we'll be in touch via email or phone to reschedule.
Often, when we're scheduling our initial portrait session date, if it works for our calendars, we'll actually set up both a main date and a rain date just to make sure we don't have to postpone your session for very long if the weather is bad on the original date.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
Anything less than 50% chance, we will still shoot. If chances are between 50-75%, I will leave the decision up to you. If chances are 75% or higher, we will reschedule for next available date.
What happens if it rains on the day of my session?
Yes! Within your final gallery, you have access to a professional print shop to order your photos as prints, canvases, etc. with ease!
Do you offer prints or canvases?
Oh, ABSOLUTELY! I will send you a Senior Session Guide that walks you through every little outfit detail!
